Available in summer 2022, ADRO (Aerodynamic Development Race Optimization) is offering carbon fiber customs for the newest Tesla Model 3 and Model Y. It uses dry, super-premium prepreg carbon fiber instead of the more common “wet” option. Dry carbon fiber is extra lightweight and has quality control that assures it has optimal strength. While you often see the shiny epoxy-rich, wet carbon fiber in high-end luxury or sports cars, dry carbon fiber is something usually seen in track cars.
