Future Farm promotes the idea of building quality relationships with suppliers for the chickpea, soybean, pea, beets, coconut oil, natural plant extracts and other ingredients in its GMO-free foods.
Those responsibly sourced ingredients are then nurtured with advanced technology in a modern, innovative factory built to specific calibrations for precision in every recipe. Producing plant-based products requires significantly fewer resources than traditional livestock. According to BlendGroup, we’re talking over 92% less land and water, as well as 99% less carbon.
Meanwhile, food packaging is a huge source of waste on our planet. Future Farm is on a mission to continuously clean up packaging wherever possible. It’s starting with trays that are either recyclable or biodegradable and paper sleeves that are 100% recyclable.
With the Amazon in its front and back yard, Future Farm has an intense interest in protecting this valuable resource. In conjunction with Climate Partner, the company offsets its carbon footprint by supporting efforts to prevent deforestation in the sensitive region. And as a global company, it recognizes the importance of corporate responsibility. It collaborated with Carbon Cloud to measure its carbon output along the supply chain. Future Farm has announced a goal to lower Future Burger’s footprint by 10% at the end of 2022.
