Earth911 Inspiration: Greatest Threat to Our Planet
Today’s inspiration comes from Robert Swan, British historian, explorer, and activist: “The greatest danger to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.”
Swan was the first person to walk to both the South Pole and the North Pole. After witnessing the effects of climate change on the Polar icecaps, he dedicated himself to protecting Antarctica and our planet at large. He founded 2041 Foundation, an organization dedicated to this goal.
